Robert Henri gives great insight and motivation. I could have read a lot more from him if I could find some. Unfoortunately he doesn't seem to have written much more. I was told he mainly passed his wisdom on to his students on art school. Many of them also seem to have become fine teachers.I read the book straight from beginning to end, but as his texts are a collection it is also possible to just open the (e)book on a random page and take his words as an inspiration for the day.Deeply recommended for (aspiring) artists, but also art lovers might find his texts enlighting.
